An innovative device intended for non-invasive, fast and safe closure, stabilization, and support of incisions, wounds, lacerations. Designed to address the limitations of conventional suturing/stapling technologies. Effective as the sutures but at the speed of stapling, saving valuable OR time, related cost and reducing stuff workload. Eliminates the need for healthy, intact tissue piercing without leaving foreign bodies on the wound site and thus reducing the chance of infection. Protects the wound, enhances healing process and assists in achieving better cosmetic results (scar reduction). Extremely friendly and safe for the user, it is applied in a simple, quick and easy fashion and eliminates possible needle injuries. Increases patient’s comfort and satisfaction by reducing pain and healing time and achieving better aesthetic results. Ideal for applications ranging from emergency cases all the way to final skin closure in the OR. It can also be used as a temporary closure where additional follow-up treatment is required, since it can be easily removed without damaging the wound.

Self-adhesive polyurethane foam dressing with perforated, soft silicone wound contact layer to minimize irritation. Therasorb®AD combines the advantages of moist environment foam dressing and alginate dressing for faster wound healing without the formation of scabs. Soft, breathable foam maintains an ideal moist environment for wound healing and cushions the wound for protection. Alginate facilitates hemostasis, aids absorption, and forms a protective barrier. Therasorb®AD attaches to skin and detaches from wound gently, allowing painless removal and preventing secondary trauma to wound site. It is easily removed – it does not damage newly formed granulation tissue during removal, hence reduces the healing time and pain. With excellent flexibility it is easy to use on contoured surfaces or areas of
wide range of motion. Maintains adhesiveness and thus appropriate mechanical properties even after exudate absorption. Unlike other alginate dressings, Therasorb®AD does not live any residue and it is easily replaced. Applications: burns, ulcers, bedsores, surgical wounds, donor sites, diabetic foot etc.
